Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers have reportedly broken up

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers are reportedly no longer engaged.

Multiple sources have told People and In Touch that the couple has split. "While Shailene supported Aaron's career, he put soccer first and they barely spent any time together," a source told In Touch . "She felt he was neglecting their relationship. Neither of them were happy."

The two met in 2020 during the pandemic and became engaged. After keeping the engagement a secret for a few months, Shailene confirmed the news in an interview, joking, "As a little girl, I never would have thought, 'Yeah, when I grow up, I'm going to marry someone who throws balls! ' But he's just so good at it."

Rumors that the couple had split recently surfaced when Aaron won the NFL MVP Award and didn't mention Shailene in his speech and they didn't appear on the red carpet together.

The two spent some time apart during the NFL season, with Aaron living in Wisconsin while Shailene stayed in LA. "It's a stressful time for her, so [my decision] probably came at a good time for both of us to focus on our work. I think it will be a good thing," he said most recently in an interview last year.

The couple was also under pressure last year when Aaron was at the center of a major controversy after announcing that he had not been vaccinated - despite previously saying he was "immunized." In the wake of the scandal, Shailene accused the "media" of overanalyzing her Instagram stories, saying, "I'm literally laughing here at your determination to make a story out of nothing. I'm grasping at straws, my darlings".
