Father Kidnaps His Two Daughters in Egypt
Cairo, Egypt - A man in Egypt has kidnapped his two daughters and fled the country with one of them, as announced by the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday.
Living separately from his wife, the man picked up the girls from their school in Cairo on Tuesday and disappeared with them. The mother of the girls reported the incident to the police.
Subsequently, the police were able to locate and arrest the man. He admitted to kidnapping the girls but claimed that he only intended to take them to their grandmother, who resides in another country.
The older of the two girls, aged 12, was found by the police and safely returned to her mother. However, the younger daughter, aged 10, is still missing.
The Ministry of Interior has initiated a manhunt for the father and is seeking the public's assistance.
