A Fox News photojournalist has been killed in Ukraine, the television network confirmed Tuesday.
Pierre Zakrzewski was killed Monday in Ukraine in an incident that also hospitalized Fox correspondent Benjamin Hall, a statement to staff said.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news this morning of the death of our beloved cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski," Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott wrote in a memo to station employees. Pierre was killed in Horenka, outside Kiev, Ukraine. Pierre was with Benjamin Hall on a news broadcast yesterday when their vehicle came under fire.
