Two-thirds of the city of Chernihiv is without heating and hot water, losses amount to 60 dead and 400 injured, but the city is alive and functioning

Source: The mayor of Chernihiv, Vladyslav Atrozhenko, in a joint broadcast of TV channels on March 9.

Direct speech: "Two-thirds of the city has no hot water supply. We now have an autonomous power supply, disconnected from the main Ukrainian grid. About two-thirds of the city has no heating. In some areas there is no cold water. There have been direct hostilities of the heating networks in the heating plant.

The situation is extremely difficult, but people are working diligently. My whole team, all the supervisors have stayed and worked, no one has left. We have almost 400 wounded. Almost 60 people have been killed.

There are cases where a person was at the epicenter of the bombing, but she is neither among the living nor among the dead. She was burned, she disappeared".
