Ukrainian forces say they have already killed more than 1,000 Russian attackers.
Such heavy losses in such a short time have never been suffered by Russia in any conflict before, the Ukrainian army claimed Friday.
"Russian mothers send their sons to certain death, as Ukrainian forces hold the lines and will defend their country against the occupiers"

The Russian Ministry of Defense, on the other hand, states that there have been no casualties so far.
