Sebastian Rios missing 2-year-old was found
Pennsylvania State Police announced on Twitter Saturday morning that Sebastian Rios had been found.
No other details were provided, including the whereabouts of Sebastian's mother, 24-year-old Yasemin Uyar, for whom police were also searching. Sebastian and Yasemin were last seen Thursday in Rahway and were believed to have been taken by the boy's father, 27-year-old Tyler Rios of Highland Park.
Police set up a perimeter that included an apartment block around the home where the boy lived with his mother on Westfield Avenue.
Rahway detectives entered the home Friday night and said it was an active scene. Yasemin's sister, Marissa Uyar, told our sister station WABC that Tyler and Yasemin are not together and their only relationship is a son they share. She said Tyler has a history of domestic violence and recently became homeless.
Marissa also said Tyler had recently broken into Yasemin's home and police officers were called. Tyler had apparently convinced officers that he had been living there.
Marissa added that Yasemin was planning to leave Rahway for safety reasons.
"She was pretty busy packing up and getting herself together," Marissa said.
Marissa said she just wants to know her sister and nephew are safe and has a message for Tyler Rios.
"Man, I just want him to at least let my nephew go. I mean, I want my sister to come home, but I mean, there's got to be something, you know?" She said.
