Two NYPD officers Jason Rivera & Wilbert Mora - one a rookie with just over a year on the job—were shot while responding to a domestic violence call Friday night in Harlem, multiple police sources said.

Lashawn McNeil was identified as the gunman who allegedly fired at the NYPD officers

Shots erupted about 5:10 p.m. at an apartment at 119 West 135th Street as police responded to a domestic violence dispute between a mother and son, sources confirmed.

One of the officers was struck in the face by gunfire, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The suspect was also fatally shot, the sources said.

The suspect in the shooting was also killed by gunfire.

The Harlem shooting comes just a day after an NYPD detective was shot on Staten Island.

The NYPD urged residents in a tweet to avoid the area.

Mayor Eric Adams was taken to Harlem Hospital, where the injured officers were treated, tweeted his spokesman.

The unidentified officers are the fourth and fifth members of the NYPD to be injured by gunfire so far in 2022.

One joined in November 2020 and the other in 2018, police records show.

The shooting comes a day after an NYPD detective was shot during a drug raid on Staten Island.
The NYPD is asking residents to avoid the area, and the condition of the officer is unknown at this time.

Mayor Eric Adams was headed to Harlem Hospital to see where the officers were taken after the shooting.

On Tuesday, Officer Kaseem Pennant was shot in the leg as he struggled with a juvenile suspect in the Bronx. He was released from the hospital hours later.

On New Year's Day, Officer Keith Wagenhauser was struck by bullet fragments as he sat in his car outside an East Harlem police station after his shift.
