Last Sunday, two women were found dead in trash bags on a road about 25 kilometers from Ciudad Juárez in Mexico—the second case in the region. According to local authorities, the bodies were mutilated and showed signs of torture and gunshots. The victims, Nohemí Medina Martínez and Yulizsa Ramírez, residents of El Paso, Texas, USA, were married and on a trip to Mexico. They left behind three children.
Nohemi and Yulizsa, both 28 years old, were last seen on Saturday, May 15. Unable to contact their relatives and friends, they were reported missing by their families.
According to the Mexican press, the case is still under investigation, but there is no information about suspects yet.

Ciudad Juarez police are also investigating the case of two other women who were found dead in trash bags on Monday. The victims were in their 30s. They have not yet been identified.
