Billie Eilish Lost Cause She surprises her fans with new song
Billie Eilish's new album won't be released until the end of July, but fans can already look forward to new music: "Lost Cause" is here.
Billie Eilish (19) sweetens the waiting time for her upcoming album "Happier Than Ever" with another song. On Wednesday, the singer released "Lost Cause", already the fourth song that will be featured on her second album.
Just a day before the release, the artist announced on Instagram the new song and the accompanying music video, with a short clip. In "Lost Cause," Eilish sings about a past love. She says the person sung about only disappointed her, but the singer realized that the other person is just a "lost cause." The music video for "Lost Cause" shows Billie Eilish at home with her friends, laughing, dancing and having a good time together.
The musician's second studio album "Happier Than Ever" will be released on July 30. Eilish writes on Instagram that it is the "favorite thing I've ever created" and she is so excited for her fans to hear the new songs as well. Previously released songs "My Future," "Therefore I Am" and "Your Power" will be among the 16 songs on the album, along with "Lost Cause." In 2022, the singer will go on a world tour with the new music.
#LostCause video is just an attempt to make you appear more commercial & relatable to others but you are slowly losing urself as an individual. I also dislike the song. Both are silly. Ur #Vogue cover was a reflection of that as well. U should expect more of urself.@billieeilish — Aslam Moosa (@moosa_aslam) June 3, 2021
