According to a report from CNN, Olivia was found dead on August 9 - the exact cause of death is not yet known. A police spokesperson stated, "Police were investigating a sudden death at a house in Cambridge last night. Police are carrying out inquests into the death on behalf of the coroner." He added that the coroner would announce the results of the post-mortem examination in due course.
The family already confirmed the death of the athlete on social media. "Rest in peace, my wonderful sister and beloved daughter of Phil Podmore," wrote Olivia's brother Mitchell on his Facebook profile, expressing his great sorrow: "We will carry you forever in our hearts."
